We have been working with Tea Tribe for a few years now and we love how the owners are always trying to improve their offering by finding recyclable packaging instead of using plastics as well as creating new and interesting teas. We love Tea Tribe's flavours and their use of organic ingredients - something we always looking to share with our customers is a taste of something unique with organic ingredients.

Tell us about The Tea Tribe, how it came to be and what passions pushed you here?

Tea Tribe's beginnings are the labour of love of others. We have had the pleasure of running the company only for a short time.

There is a sweet happiness in the fact that we produce such a beautiful organic, hand blended product with Byron Bay as our back drop. We are naturally tea lovers and that is what draws us in and rather than being pushed, we are beckoned each morning by the alluring scents of this ancient beverage.


What have you learnt about your business along the way?


We are still learning each day. It's important to always put the love in and this will be received on the other end.

How did you come up with the name and logo of your company?

This again was the creation of the first owner.
One thing I can say is that the people who love our blends, do feel like a tribe, as they are so loyal to us.



What is your favourite product?


Wow hard to choose!!!
If I need a good rest Sleep tea
If I’m feeling like detoxing- Cleanse is perfect!
Then to keep my health in check- the immunity blend is my fav!!
But I always start my day with a loving cup go Genmaicha. 


What’s new for your business over the next 12 months?


The most exciting thing, will be introducing a Native Bush range. We have experience already working with native herbs and spices. We will source locally too, so that also feels very rounded.

Where’s your favourite place in Byron Bay?

These are such tricky questions, Tom was born in Byron and he has a special place in his heart for Watego's Beach where his family had a beach house, and he learnt to surf and explore as a child,.
