Mother's Day is one of our favourite days of the year. A time we can reflect on our beautiful Mum's and enjoy our children, whilst ensuring we get to spoil and pamper ourselves as well!
We sat down with some of our favourite local suppliers who are also Mother's to find out how they were going to be spending their Mother's Day for our blog.
Kate from Mayde Tea
My ideal Mothers day looks like...
I would wake up to a chai in bed, and cuddles from Ryan and my daughter Alfie. We’d go out for breakfast and spend the day at the beach, surfing and enjoying the simple things! We’d go home and read a book while Alfie is having her nap. I don’t need anything too fancy on Mother’s Day- just being with my family makes me feel like the luckiest and happiest girl alive!
My ultimate Mother’s Day breakfast includes...
my partner Ryan’s scrambled eggs (he makes the best eggs!), avocado and the bread social sourdough. I usually have a pot of our organic Earl Grey with some oat milk with my breakfast. Otherwise if we go out for breakfast, we would go down to The General Store, it’s worth the 30 minute drive for their delicious food and smoothies!

How will you be spending Mother's Day?
I’m hoping for breakfast in bed and cuddles with my children, followed by a day spent lounging with cups of tea and a book, until a suitable time when cups of tea can be replaced by a cocktail!
