I believe strongly in buying locally and thought this was a great find. When I ordered the hamper the delivery date seemed realistic with 5+ working days to be delivered.
The hamper was purchased as a surprise for my best girlfriend ahead of her birthday. Unfortunately, I didn't arrive ahead or even on her birthday. The hamper only need to go from Byron Bay to Tweed Heads, but it arrived some 5 days later than anticipated. When it did arrive, there was no knock at the door (as my friend was at home) and the hamper was left out in the sun and visable to passing pedestrians etc., when there was a shaded and private alcove at the front door where I had requested it be delivered if there was no response.
I'm pretty disapponted that when ordering, having read the details pertaining to time for delivery and being given the option to choose a reasonable date before her birthday, there was nothing advising or cautioning me that I had not provided enough time for the delivery to align with her special day.
The products look great online and the cost seem are reasonable, but unfortunately the courier is letting them down.
