The 4 spice pastes already existed in the shire. It was offer Another friend of ours is an amazing graphic artist so she redesigned the packaging and we changed the flavour names to be more accessible.
However we quickly realised that we needed to provide a more user friendly product for the home cook. so developed the recipe blends. When we looked around the market we discovered there was very little on offer that was in the curry flavour ranges and we decided a see through plastic pouch that clearly showed the contents was the best way to present the flavours.
We chose to do the opposite and keep the packaging simple so people could see the quality of the contents. We were also lucky as this was around the time when the gluten free etc was starting and all of our flavours are gluten free, no added sugar or nasty preservatives
