Everyone loves a warm cup of tea, there's nothing quite like that soul warming feeling a fresh brew can bring!

Today is International Tea Day and we have decided to celebrate our favourite local Byron Bay tea brands.

Each brand is lovingly handcrafted with the highest quality ingredients in our local Byron shire. Read on to find out more about these local brands, their passion for tea and the benefits of drinking the tailored specially crafted blends.

Mindful Foods

Whether you’re relaxing from a taxing day, a busy or mind, or you’re looking to improve the depth and quality of your sleep, unwind & recline to this calming cocktail of organic herbal relaxants.

Floral notes of lavender & rose hint at the peaceful quality of this blend, but your system will settle even moreso with the effects of chamomile, valerian, skullcap and lemon balm (all of which can also improve memory & learning).

Ashwagandha is both soothing in the short term & stress-relieving in the long term (it helps to reduce cortisol)

Mayde Tea - Energise

‘This is a new favourite blend – it’s the papaya and just the right amount of ginger that makes it so delicious. I’ve switched my afternoon coffee for this energy tea and I feel so much better already.’ – Stephanie, Mayde Tea customer.

This rejuvenating caffeine-free blend is high in antioxidants and minerals that have been found to improve vitality. Sweet papaya and zesty, spicy herbs combine in an invigorating brew that gives you a nourishing energy boost.

Kisos Chai

An aromatic blend of seven spices blended with locally grown Australian tea.  Kisos Chai spice blend includes cinnamon, cardamon, ginger, star anise, nutmeg, pepper & vanilla. A perfect drink to calm your senses and relax your soul. Drink it as a tea or make into a latte.

Tea Tribe

Featuring a rich yellow colour, with warming roots of ginger & turmeric, and an earthy black pepper spice. Blended using local and imported ingredients. A herbal, small batch hand blended in Byron Bay.
